It’s been a tough year for women in the industry.
In February, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) proposed requiring beauty products made by the cosmetics and personal care companies Beauty and Wellness to include a safe amount of sunscreen.
The proposed rule is scheduled to go into effect in April.
Since then, women’s health advocates have raised concerns that it could impact women who rely on their skin to protect themselves from sunburn.
Meanwhile, beauty industry insiders have defended the industry’s position that it’s OK for products made in-house to have more than 50 percent of their ingredients come from a trusted source.
But a new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine finds that some of the biggest beauty brands in the world are using questionable ingredients and misleading claims to make themselves look good.
“It’s pretty clear from the evidence that some companies are putting in-home ingredients that aren’t from a reputable source,” said study co-author Sara Fuchs, a senior scientist at the University of California, Los Angeles.
“They are using ingredients that are not safe for consumers.”
In the study, researchers from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Boston University analyzed the ingredients in products sold by some of America’s largest beauty brands, including Lancôme, Lancômin, Too Faced, Too Cool For School, and Ulta Beauty.
They found that many of the ingredients they tested were not safe, and the products that were used could lead to harmful or even fatal reactions.
The researchers also looked at the ingredients used in many other products sold in the United States, including makeup, fragrances, and bath bombs.
Among the most shocking findings of the study were the products sold at Beauty andwellness.com.
They included products that contained synthetic fragrance, which could lead the FDA to issue a warning.
Another study found that the ingredients that were in the most popular products in the beauty industry were also those that were most likely to cause skin irritation.
In the cosmetics aisle, products with synthetic fragrance were found in almost one-third of all products sold, and those products were also linked to skin irritation in two-thirds of those cases.
One of the most alarming findings of this study was that the brands that were the most often cited as using the safest ingredients were also the ones that most often used ingredients that weren’t safe.
While it’s unclear if these products were tested in-store, the researchers say the findings suggest that consumers are paying more attention to ingredients that they see in the store than they are to the ingredients the companies claim to use in-depth testing.
In response to the study’s findings, beauty brand founder, Marc Jacobs, said the brands in his lineup are committed to ensuring that their ingredients are safe.
Jacobs, who also owns the cosmetics brand L’Oreal, added that he has taken the company’s commitment to safety into account and has done a lot of research to ensure that all of the products we make are safe for customers to use.
“Our commitment is that our products will be safe for our customers, and we are constantly looking to improve the safety of our products to make sure that we meet that commitment,” Jacobs said.
“I think that is really important to remember that people are using products that are made in house to be safe, to make products that will not have any adverse reactions.”
